Baked Vegetables
diet with acupuncture, baked vegetable ingredients
It is very easy to bake vegetables. They taste absolutely delicious and it is especially beneficial to eat them during the colder months of winter. Many vegetables such as yams, squash, potatoes, parsnips, and carrots are especially tasty when baked.
1 yam
3 medium size carrots
3 medium size parsnips
2 medium size onions
1/2 a cup of vegetable oil
1/4 tea spoon salt
Dash of pepper
3 cloves of garlic
1 inch cub of fresh ginger
1/2 tea spoon of marjoram
Place the oil in a bowl. Peel the garlic and crush in a garlic press. Peel the skin off the piece of ginger and grate on a very fine grater. Add the garlic, ginger and add the salt pepper and marjoram to the oil. Dip the vegetables into the oil mix and then place them on a tin tray. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes. Some vegetables such as squash cook faster than parsnips so keep as eye on the mix as it cooks.
